ناشد رئيس الهيئات الاقتصادية الوزير السابق محمد شقير، “خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبد العزيز وولي عهده الأمير محمد بن سلمان وقادة الدول الخليجية، العودة إلى لعب دورهم التاريخي المشرّف لدعم لبنان واحتضانه وإنقاذه من كل أزماته المأساوية التي تهدّد الكيان بالسقوط، وذلك تعزيزاً لعلاقات لبنان مع دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي والمملكة العربية السعودية، وحفاظاً على أمن لبنان لا سيما الاقتصادي والاجتماعي”.  
وقال شقير في بيان: نعوّل على محبة أشقائنا وحسّهم الإنساني والأخوي للوقوف إلى جانبنا في هذه المرحلة الأصعب في تاريخ البلد. <\/p>
