تمنى الأمين العام لإتحاد المصارف العربية وسام حسن فتوح، في بيان “نظرا للظروف المعيشية المأساوية التي يمر بها الشعب اللبناني، تعزيز الدور التاريخي المشرف للمملكة العربية السعودية ودول مجلس التعاون الخليجي لدعم الشعب اللبناني في هذه الظروف الصعبة، وإنقاذه من أزماته الاقتصادية والإنسانية والإجتماعية التي تهدد أمنه وعيشه الكريم”.
 
وناشد الأمين العام خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبد العزيز وولي عهده الأمير محمد بن سلمان “دعم الشعب اللبناني الغارق في أزماته المالية والإقتصادية الحادة والوقوف إلى جانب أشقائهم اللبنانيين الذين يمرون اليوم في ظروف إنسانية صعبة وغير مسبوقة”.<\/p>
