إعتبر أمين الصندوق في جمعية المصارف الدكتور تنال صباح أن “كره الناس للمصارف واقع لا يمكن انكاره ولكن عن غير حق، فالناس صدقت السياسيين الذين ألقوا اللوم على المصارف.”<\/p>

وفي حديث لبرنامج “صوت الناس” عبر الـ”LBCI” والـ”SBI”، أشار إلى أن “نحن تحت القضاء وتحت القانون، والدولة منحلّة وبعض أجهزتها يتصرف بتعسف، ونحن نطالب بالكابيتال كونترول وخطة تعاف سريعة، وعدم إقرار الاثنين يعتبر أيضًا تعسفًا بحق المصارف.”
ورأى أن “الدولة في حالة نكران ومصرف لبنان في حالة نكران ولا يزال يعتقد أنه يستطيع إعادة الودائع للناس، كما أن المصارف في حالة نكران ولا تزال تعتبر أنها لا يجب أن تخسر كثيرًا والمودع في حالة نكران لأن لا أحد أبلغه أن الودائع “طارت”.
ولفت صباح إلى أن “جمعية المصارف مهمَلة وهي جميعة “ما عندها أسنان” ومستضعفة وتعامل بتعسف.”<\/p>

وعن إضراب المصارف الإثنين والثلاثاء، أكد أنه “موجب والأربعاء يوم عمل عادي.”
وشدد على أنه “لن يبدأ لبنان جديد من دون كابيتال كونترول ولا خطة تعاف.”
وقال إننا “لا نهدف إلا للمحافظة على النظام المصرفي والقيّمون عليه باتوا أعداءه والمصارف أخطأت والخطأ يرتّب مسؤولية وتعويضًا والخطأ الذي ارتكبته المصارف فادح.”
 
وأضاف: “لدي خشية من أن الطريقة التي يعامل بها القطاع المصرفي هي لإنهائه.” <\/p>
