 طالب اتحاد نقابات موظفي بيروت بإنشاء محاكم اقتصادية تسرع في اصدار الاحكام المبرمة في حق التجار واصحاب السوبرماركت والمولدات الخاصة الذين لا يتقيدون بالتسعيرة الرسمية ولا بالارباح المعقولة بل يعمدون الى رفع اسعارهم بطريقة كبيرة .
واكد الاتحاد على “ضرورة ان تكون محاضر الضبط  في حق هؤلاء مرتفعة لمنعهم من الاستمرار في التلاعب بالاسعار لان قيمة المحاضر الحالية لا تتجاوز الآلاف او المليون ليرة وهم يحققون اضعافها برفع اسعارهم”.
وتساءل رئيس الاتحاد شفيق صقر عن “الاسباب التي تمنع البلديات من مساعدة مصلحة حماية المستهلك في وزارة الاقتصاد والتجارة في القيام بجولاتها التفتيشية لانها تمثل الشعب الذي انتخبها ومن واجبها تأمين الحماية الاجتماعية والمعيشية له”.
واعتبر أن “التجار واصحاب السوبرماركت والمولدات الخاصة الذين لن يتراجعوا عن ارباحهم الفاحشة على حساب هذا الشعب المتروك لمصيره لا يخافون الله، بل المطلوب الضرب بيد من حديد خصوصا بعد الزيارة الاستعراضية  التي قام بها وزيرا الاقتصاد والتجارة والزراعة والتي كشفت مدى التلاعب بالاسعار والعجز عن تأمين لقمة العيش لا سيما في شهر رمضان حيث لا يستطيع المواطن شراء ابسط حاجياته ونأمل ان نرى تدابير وقرارات تحمي الشعب في لقمة عيشه”.<\/p>
