حقق رجل الأعمال الأميركي إيلون ماسك أخيرا حلمه، وتوصل إلى اتفاق للاستحواذ على منصة “تويتر”، سيحصل المساهمون بموجبه على 54.20 دولار للسهم.
وكشفت مصادر مطلعة في وقت سابق، أن الشركة تقترب من الموافقة على صفقة بيعها إلى الملياردير مقابل 54.20 دولار نقدا للسهم، متوقعة حدوث الصفقة “خلال ساعات”.
والسعر المذكور وصفه ماسك الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة “تسلا”، بأنه عرضه “الأفضل والأخير” لشراء منصة التواصل الاجتماعي. وتصل إجمالي قيمة الصفقة إلى 44 مليار دولار.<\/p>

وكان ماسك، أغنى شخص في العالم وفقا لمجلة “فوربس”، يتفاوض من أجل شراء “تويتر” بصفته الشخصية، ولا تشارك “تسلا” في الصفقة.
وارتفعت أسهم تويتر بنسبة 4.5 بالمئة في تعاملات ما قبل السوق في نيويورك، الإثنين، إلى 51.15 دولار.<\/p>

وفي وقت سابق، قال ماسك إن “تويتر” بحاجة لأن يصبح شركة خاصة لكي ينمو ويصبح منصة حقيقية لحرية التعبير.وتأتي الصفقة بعد 4 أيام فقط من كشف ماسك النقاب عن حزمة تمويل لدعم عملية الاستحواذ.
وأدى ذلك إلى تعامل مجلس إدارة “تويتر” مع الصفقة بجدية أكبر، وطلب العديد من المساهمين من الشركة عدم التخلي عن هذه الفرصة.
