اشار نائب رئيس حكومة تصريف الاعمال ​سعادة الشامي​ الى ان تدخُل ​مصرف لبنان​ في السوق هو وراء ارتفاع وانخفاض الدولار بشكل أساسي، ولفت الى ان مصرف لبنان يتدخل بشكل مؤكد في السوق من الاحتياطي. وكشف في حديث تلفزيوني، بان الحكومة طلبت من حاكم مصرف لبنان ​رياض سلامة​ معرفة حجم الاحتياطي الفعلي ولم يصلنا جواباً.
ولفت الشامي الى اننا وصلنا لاتفاق مع ​صندوق النقد الدولي​ خلال وقت صعب جداً وبفترة تُعتبر سريعة نسبياً. واشار الى انه “إلى الآن، لا أفهم لماذا لم تُقر الموازنة لسنة 2022”.
واوضح الشامي باننا نريد أن نعطي كل مودع 100 ألف دولار لكننا نحتاج الى 34 مليار دولار لتغطية هذا المبلغ. وذكر بانه من الممكن استخدام أصول المصارف لايجاد حل لمشكلة كبار المودعين.
وشدد الشامي على ان توظيف أصول الدولة لا يمكنه تغطية الخسائر قبل 70 سنة، ولا يمكن القبول باستخدام أموال الدولة وحرمان الاقتصاد والموازنة منها لاعطائها لـ5000 مودع فقط.<\/p>
