لفت رئيس ​الإتحاد العمالي العام​ ​بشارة الأسمر​، إلى أنه “لا بدّ من مراقبة الأسعار عبر ​وزارة الإقتصاد​، والضرب بيد من حديد وتفعيل الرقابة ودور القضاء”.
وأكّد أن, “شحّ ​الليرة اللبنانية​ في الأسواق يؤثر سلبًا في ​الإقتصاد اللبناني​، مع قيام “​مصرف لبنان​” بسحب العملة الوطنية وإستبدالها بالدولار”.
وأوضح في حديث لإذاعة “النور”، “أننا نسعى إلى التخفيف من حدّة أزمة ​القطاع الصحي​ عبر تأمين الأموال من ​تعاونية موظفي الدولة​ و​الصندوق الوطني للضمان الإجتماعي​، اللذيْن يجب رفدهما بشكل كافٍ من خزينة الدولة”.
وقال الأسمر: “أننا وزارة العمل نعتبرها في هذه المرحلة وزارة العمّال، نظرًا إلى وقوف وزير العمل إلى جانب العامل وسعيه إلى إنصافه”.
وشدد الأسمر، في حديثه، على أن, “حال الدولة ليست سليمة ومداخيلها شبه معدومة، وهو ما ينعكس سلبًا على الحياة الإقتصادية والإجتماعية”<\/p>
