On February 22, the F\u00e9d\u00e9ration M\u00e9diterran\u00e9enne des Brokers en Assurances (FMBA) will hold its General Assembly in the city of Marrakech, Morocco. During this important meeting, the election of the organization\u2019s new president will take place. The position will be assumed by Elias Hanna, president of the Lebanese union LIBS and the only candidate following the nomination process opened last January. Hanna will succeed Sebasti\u00e1n Cordero, from the Andalusian union ACSA, who has led the FMBA for the past three years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Assembly, which will bring together representatives from unions across various Mediterranean countries, will be held in a privileged setting. Marrakech, known as the \u201cRed City,\u201d will provide an exceptional backdrop for this event, thanks to its rich history, vibrant culture, and unmatched hospitality. The event\u2019s organization has been made possible with the support of the FNACAM union, a member of FMBA, which is hosting the Assembly and has facilitated the necessary logistics for its celebration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In addition to electing the new president, the FMBA General Assembly will also appoint a new Steering Committee, a key body for managing and developing the Federation\u2019s activities in the coming years. Discussions are expected to address the challenges and opportunities of the insurance sector in the Mediterranean region, in a context of digital transformation and regulatory evolution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is worth noting that this FMBA General Assembly coincides with the General Assembly of the F\u00e9d\u00e9ration des Soci\u00e9t\u00e9s d\u2019Assurances de Droit National Africaines (FANAF), further enhancing the event\u2019s significance and providing a space for dialogue and exchange between key players in the African and Mediterranean insurance sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
